Tamie & Glen : Tamie & Glen asked me to capture the renewal of their vows on the Esplanade, followed by formal photos at the Botanical Gardens and a reception at the Airport Resort. They didn't want any fancy editing or effects. These are some of the images taken.

Leah & Zak - 19 July 2008 : Photos of our wedding ceremony at Lake Alexander. As a photographer myself, it was rather bad of me to choose a spot where the sun was behind us, but photos aside, it was a beautiful location. Thanks to everyone who sent us their photos, be they from camera-phones or SLRs... this collection is possible because of all of you!

Lisa-Marie & Paul : My beautiful friends L-M and Paul invited me to their wedding the weekend before Leah and I got married! I couldn't help taking my camera along to make sure they got some nice shots of the ceremony. [Natural light only, using a Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 lens on my Nikon D80.]

Cherie & Marcus : Cherie and Marcus asked me to photograph their 'elopement style' wedding after they drove up to Darwin to visit their best friends. They selected a pleasant spot in Rapid Creek for their big day, and only had a wedding party of four - themselves, and their friends as the best man and bridesmaid!

Kelly & Kirst : Kelly & Kirston asked me to photograph their wedding at East Point just before sunset, made more special because Kel was carrying their first child. Lighting for ceremony was a very strong and angular sun from right of frame and a single remote strobe on a stand to the left of frame to fill the strong shadow side, driven by Nikon's CLS wireless mode.

Annette & Steve : My first Darwin wedding, complete with harsh outdoor sunlight beating down from behind the ceremony and a dark reception venue. Annette and Steve had an absolute ball and made it fun to capture their big day.

Cathy & Simon : Cathy and Simon are friends of mine and commissioned me to photograph their wedding in sunny Canberra. I'd only owned a Digital SLR camera for about three months at that point so was nervous but also honoured to be asked! Even though this was my first full wedding, it represents the way I still do weddings now: lots of variety, angles, candid moments, trying to capture the fun and happy side of the day as much as possible.
